Why I Bothered

As if I didn't have enough other stuff going on...

But there I was in the middle of a pasture today, taking an uncharacteristic snooze (more or less, the ground was hard - but at least it was dry). And it hit me that there was an unlimited amount of inspiration out there to tap into.

Too much for one person, it would seem. But I've been filling my head with all sorts of fascinating content lately, and all this needs a place to roost. Then,  by happy coincidences, I was reminded about NaNoWriMo again - and how I'd written a novel back in 2006 about my move to the Midwest away from a particular corporate culture in Los Angeles.

This novel is disrelated, but still possible within that time frame, even though it's a month away. (Darn, I thought it was November already...)

So you'll need to stay tuned. I'll be fleshing out my ideas on this between now and then, as well as updating on Joseph Campbell's classic (a perfect excuse to get back to this.)

As well, you should also see my cartooning resurface (http://myflyoverzone.blogspot.com) and so this novel might be illustrated. One can never tell which muse will strike first...
